Straight-line Customer-Initiated Text Messaging Terms

Effective Date: August 25th, 2026

These Customer-Initiated Text Messaging Terms (“SMS Terms”) apply to text-message communications between you and Straight-line (“Straight-line,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. Customer-Initiated Texting

Straight-line provides text messaging as a convenient way for customers to communicate with us.

You initiate the text-message conversation with Straight-line. When you send a text message to Straight-line, we may respond to your message using text messaging in order to address your question, request, appointment, service matter, or other communication you initiated.

Straight-line does not use this customer-initiated texting service to send unsolicited marketing or promotional text messages.

2. Nature of Messages

Messages sent by Straight-line through this channel are intended to respond to your communication or request.

Depending on your interaction with us, responses may include:

  • Answers to questions;
  • Customer service communications;
  • Information about services you have requested;
  • Appointment or scheduling information;
  • Estimates, quotes, or other information you requested;
  • Follow-up regarding an existing customer inquiry; or
  • Other information reasonably related to your communication with Straight-line.

3. No Marketing Texts

Straight-line does not use this customer-initiated text messaging channel to send unsolicited advertisements, promotions, or marketing messages.

If Straight-line introduces a separate program that sends promotional or marketing text messages, that program will require the appropriate consent and will be governed by its own applicable terms and disclosures.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply.

Your wireless carrier may charge you for text messages or data according to the terms of your mobile plan. Straight-line is not responsible for carrier charges, network availability, delays, or other carrier-related issues.

5. Opting Out

Because you control when you initiate a text conversation with Straight-line, you may simply stop sending messages to us at any time.

You may also reply STOP if you no longer wish to receive text responses from Straight-line. We will honor reasonable requests to discontinue text communications.
